Stevens Point Area Public School District Seeks Citizen Members for School Board Committees
The Stevens Point Area Public School District is currently seeking citizen members to serve on two of its committees, the Educational Services Committee and the Business Services/Human Resources Committee. This is an excellent opportunity for qualified citizens who reside within the school district to get involved and make a difference in their community.
The term for the citizen members will be two years, from July 2023 to June 2025. Interested citizens who meet the qualifications are encouraged to apply for the committee of their choice.
To apply, interested citizens must complete and submit a signed hard-copy of the attached Declaration of Candidacy and Citizen Member Application by 4:00 p.m. on Friday, May 26, 2023. The completed application materials should be sent to Karlyn Krautkramer, School Board Secretary, at 1900 Polk Street, Stevens Point, WI 54481.
For those who have additional questions or would like more information, the Office of the Superintendent can be reached at 715-345-5444. Application materials may be downloaded here or they can be picked up at the Bliss Educational Services Center located at 1900 Polk Street in Stevens Point.
By serving as a citizen member on one of these committees, individuals will have the opportunity to work with other dedicated community members and school district staff to ensure that every student receives the best education possible.
