Emergency Medical Technician (EMT)
- Fill out the Start College Now Application found in the counseling office or here. Return completed application to Mr. Nugent in the counseling office (by October 1st if you are applying for the spring semester or March 1st if you are applying for the fall semester). The bullet points below should be completed while you are awaiting approval.
- Apply to Mid-State for the Emergency Medical Technician program here: https://www.mstc.edu/
apply. - Once you have applied to Mid-State, you will need to schedule your new student advising appointment with your program academic advisor. To find your current program academic advisor, please visit Mid-State's Academic Advising webpage (you will need to scroll down to search). Here you will be able to see their contact info and directly schedule an appointment with them. Be sure to schedule your appointment before registration opens.
- Any student who successfully completes EMT, EMR, Firefighter 1 or 2, or Firefighter Inspector may receive a $500 stipend for each class from the Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development after high school graduation. See Mr. Gostomski in the Career Center for more information.
