What are Junior Conferences?
Between November and February, all juniors and their parents/guardians will be invited to attend an individualized Junior Planning Conference with their assigned counselor. Students and parents/guardians will be invited to attend in-person. Families will receive a letter in the mail with the date and time of their conference a week or two prior to the meeting. Conferences will last approximately 30 minutes.

- Senior schedule/courses
- Transcript review
- Action steps for the future
- Questions from you/parent/guardian
What happens on the day of the conference?
- Students will get a pass for the meeting and be excused from class.
- Parent/Guardian should arrive at the Counseling Office a few minutes before the scheduled junior conference time.
- If interested, please view the Junior Conference Prep Videos prior to the meeting posted on the Counseling Office site under “Informational Videos.” Students had the opportunity to view these videos in Advisory. The videos cover Scholarships, Testing, Youth Apprenticeships, Early College Credit Program/Start College Now, FAFSA, and Xello.
