     Is my child well enough?

Attending school is important, but staying home when sick prevents the spread of illness. Please keep your child/youth home if they:

    • have had a fever of 100 degrees or more, and should remain at home for 24 hours after the temperature returns to normal without medication to keep the temperature down.
    • have vomited or has had diarrhea, and should remain at home for 24 hours after it has stopped.
    • have a persistent cough.
    • have any rash with fever.
    • have open or draining skin sores.
    • have inflamed or draining eyes or ears.

The District has also posted information about symptoms and guidelines for common communicable diseases

Please notify the school attendance office if your child will be absent due to illness. With your help, we can promote good attendance while protecting all students' wellbeing.
