Scholarships

  • As of October 28, 2024, all local scholarships can now be found in Xello. Please login to your Xello Account and do the following:

    1. Click on "College Planning" under Quick Links
    2. Scroll to the "Scholarships" section and click on "Complete Profile."
    3. After you complete your profile, Xello will provide a customized list of scholarships that match the criteria you entered. This list includes local scholarships AND national scholarships.
    4. You can sort the results by deadline or by scholarship amount using the drop-down menu.
    5. If you want to look at the scholarships entered into the database by Mrs. Krupka in the Counseling Office only, click the checkbox next to "School-Added Scholarships."
    6. Questions? Stop by the Counseling Office or the Career Center.

  • Scholarship postings are updated in Xello throughout the entire school year! Paper copies of scholarships are available in the Counseling Office.

    In order to efficiently and effectively apply for scholarships, please do the following:  

    1. Check to see if you are eligible
    2. Check the deadlines
    3. Follow directions very carefully. Most committees will disregard your application if you are missing any materials.
    4. Submit a neat (preferably typed), proofread application without grammatical errors!
    5. Showcase your skills, strengths, and achievements.  Your application is often the ONLY thing the scholarship committee has to evaluate you.
